Fragments of Activism is a book published by Blackman Rossouw in collaboration with the authors Phumeza Mlungwana and Dustin Kramer, as well as the Social Change Initiative.
Moving between many themes – from facing hitmen, to occupying buildings, to the messiness of political work, to reimagining politics altogether – Fragments of Activism offers a broader conversation on forms of alternative thinking to the status quo.
Fragments of Activism is a collection of stories, essays, reflections, and images put together by Phumeza Mlungwana and Dustin Kramer. They are drawn from individual conversations over a period of two years with people building movements and campaigns across South Africa and in several countries across Latin America – people who want to change society for the better.
